Rhynchosia buettneri est une espèce de plantes à fleurs de la famille des Fabaceae et du genre Rhynchosia présente en Afrique tropicale. Son épithète spécifique buettneri rend hommage au botaniste allemand Richard Büttner (en), explorateur du bassin du Congo.
