Adelophthalmidae

Adelophthalmidae (nom dérivé du genre type Adelophthalmus, qui signifie « sans yeux évidents ») est une famille d'euryptérides, un groupe éteint d'arthropodes aquatiques. Les Adelophthalmidae sont la seule famille classée comme faisant partie de la superfamille des Adelophthalmoidea, qui à son tour est classée dans l'infra-ordre des Diploperculata dans le sous-ordre des Eurypterina. Les euryptérides adélophalmidés sont de petits euryptérides nageurs apparus au Silurien.
