Le Chardonneret de Magellan (Spinus magellanicus, anciennement Carduelis magellanica), encore appelée Tarin de Magellan ou Tarin à tête noire est une espèce de passereaux appartenant à la famille des Fringillidae. Son nom provient d'une erreur scientifique, son aire n'atteignant pas le détroit de Magellan.
