Alexandrie (en grec ancien : Ἀλεξάνδρεια / Alexándreia ; en copte : Ⲁⲗⲉⲝⲁⲛⲇⲣⲓⲁ / Aleksandria ou Ⲣⲁⲕⲟⲧⲉ / Rakotə ; en arabe : الإسكندرية / al-ʾiskandariyya) est une ville d'Égypte. En 2023, elle comptait plus de 5 362 517 habitants. Elle a été fondée par Alexandre le Grand en 331 avant notre ère.
